Castel Durante Albarello Reproduction of a cylindrical keel-shaped majolica jar with slight central introflection, decurrent shoulder.
Majolica painted in polychromy: above and below Robbiano style ribbon; body with three registers with encircling decoration; in the first and third trophies and a candelieri (candelabra) style grotesques, above tondo with band with shoulder-length portrait of figure crowned with laurel; at the centre grisaille decorations on blue sgraffito etched background and scroll with apothecary writing: CC° S BORAGINATTO.
