Masonic Albarello

Masonic Albarello Rounded keel-shaped, cylindrical majolica jar with central introflection painted in three colours with an encircling decoration.
Front: above at centre a hellebore flower with a star on both sides; beneath a semi-circular band of ribbon with the words ELL.BENEDITE.LAXATI; in the semi-circle: an hourglass within an open structure held aloft by two large wings above a fire with tall flames flanked by two crescents with the concave part pointing toward the flame.
Back: between two hellebore branches a devilish mask spouting a long jet of water that falls onto a rock with the words 1672 KAL. IAN.
