Mario De Biasi
Photographic book by Mario De Biasi. 120 colour photographs.
This book is a collection of spectacular photographs of medicinal plants taken in nature or, unusually but attractively, during the stage of first transformation.
It is a detailed and in-depth study of plants till now known only to specialists, which gives a whole new insight into their development, the structure of the flowers and leaves, their colours and the perfection of nature in general.
Flanking the photographs are literary quotations on the theme of nature that pay tribute to the creative role of the author, one of the most famous photographers today, who certainly has no need of an introduction.
Mario De Biasi, a multi-talented photographer, has produced photo-reports in different countries and is one of the leading lights of Italian photo-journalism.
He has focused mainly on the cinema, architecture and nature, giving many exhibitions and workshops, and has won a variety of international prizes and honours.
